Details about job opening: The Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) is looking out for a Network Coordinator - Conservation with a passion for nature conservation and wildlife research
Job Description: TheNetwork Coordinator – Conservation must be able to effectively manage and enhance BNHS network of conservation organizations, institutions, government agencies and individuals. He/she must be able to efficiently analyze and prepare oral and written analysis of national environmental legislation and policies. The position may require travelling widely and frequently for field visits. He/she should closely work with the BNHS teams. He/she will collaborate with BNHS’s other programs to identify and provide their requirements for networking related issues and maintain appropriate collaboration partnership with key organizations working on similar issues, represent in various meetings and processes, and be involved in fundraising for the implementation of BNHS conservation activities.
Job Specification: The potential candidate should possess a Masters Degree, preferably in Biological Sciences with strong academic record. Should have excellent research, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills, cooperative attitude with ability to work in team. He/she should be ready to work long and potentially irregular hours and the capacity to effectively deliver under tight deadlines. He/she should have strong networking skills with excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
