Note from Zubin Gandevia, Managing Director, National Geographic Channel

We are delighted to associate ourselves with Bombay Natural History Society - an institution that is 120 years old and has dedicated itself to the causes of Natural History in India. The alliance between BNHS and NGC will concentrate on creating awareness and increasing interest regarding various aspects of Natural History in India. On an ongoing basis, NGC will also promote activities of BNHS in a three-pronged integrated approach - on ground, on air and on line. Interactive events, screenings, camps and guest lectures will be held, Natural History causes will be supported on the channel through Public Service Announcements and an Explorer’s Club will be set up on the National Geographic website to bring together like minded individuals.

We look forward to your active participation as esteemed members of BNHS to make this association a resounding success…with our combined strength we hope to reach out to more people like you who believe in the ‘Spirit of Exploration and Adventure’ - the spirit, which embodies both our organisations.
Thank You!
